Manny Cervantes, born and raised in Hacienda Heights, California, discovered a love for the arts and culture at a very early age. Manny would perform for family at gatherings and parties, and knew that his passion lied in entertainment. In school, he was part of the choir, and the marching band in high school, and performing in Theatre Arts in college. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television and Film from California State University, Los Angeles. While in school, his internships focused on production, news, sports and marketing/advertising. At that point, his passion transferred to the business side of media. He started working at KVEA-TV in Los Angeles, then moved to KTTV-TV. After a couple years, he received an offer to move to New York City, and become a Sales Associate with. The NBC Sales & Marketing organization. After 5 great years as an Account Executive with NBC and Telemundo in Los Angeles, Manny advanced his career in Sales & Management Leadership with Telemundo in Fresno and Palm Springs. Currently, he is the General Sales Manager for KUNA-TV and KUNA-FM in the Palm Springs market. He is also very passionate of the community he lives in. He is actively participating with the American Diabetes Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Heart Association, Coachella Valley Economic Partnership and the Successful Transition to Higher Education in the Coachella Valley for local students to continue their education at the college or university levels.
